It worked, for about two months. Then I slipped up. But when you get news about the economy and Iraq and stuff- which there has been a wave of recently- there's not really anything else to say but G-d, J-s-s, or F---. So I stick with the first one.

OMG, it's the exact same at my school. We're always supposed to write "G-d" out of respect, and the reason for us was that if you threw the page away, and you had written "god" on it, then it would be like throwing god's name away, like you don't care about him or something. But I usually don't write "g-d"... that could do with the fact that I don't really believe in him. So, yeah.

Yah... I usually avoid writing His name on paper for school or something, so it's not usually a problem.

I think that the translator got "basket" from your name-"סלה", which is close to "סל", basket. Or...actually...couldn't it mean "her basket"?
