Summary:
The excitement of being a mercenary turns into more than newly retired US Special Forces operative David Jackson expected. An old friend called him about a great opportunity to get back into the fray for far more money. He immediately “enlisted” in Peter Gaun’s mercenary group to train and equip the new European Union Army. They soon discover that the EU plans on using bio-implants to enhance their Soldier’s abilities. As condition of employment, David agrees to have the implant installed in his neck. During the operation, he notices that chip is doing more to him than simply increasing his reflexes and sharpening his aim. What is the real purpose of the implant? And once he learns the truth can he save himself and his friends?
