Fellow Authors. I’m trying to do more to get my book noticed, and I’m sure you are as well, so I’d like to propose an exchange. The exchange would work like this. We would each send each other a ecopy of our book. (Mine would be a pdf file. Yours could be pdf or Kindle.) Then we read each other’s books and do the following 1) “Like” it on both Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com. 2) Tag it on Amazon. 3) Write a review that we would place on Goodreads, Amazon and Barnesandnoble or anywhere else you want it. Shouldn't you read the book first and then decide if you like it and agree to a positive review? Does this sort of thing happen often?
Okay, this does sound a little better now that you have changed the wording on your opening post. Asking for a positive review right out of the gate instead of a "honest" review does make it seem like you are "buying reviews"
