There are some great free short stories on there - I particularly like the Roald Dahl ones, and I plan on reading the Gabriel Garcia Marquez ones next.

I must say I'm a little curious as to whether all the stories are public domain or whether permission has been obtained for their reproduction on the site, since it isn't specified and seems like it would be a lot of work -- impressive, if so.

Paula Cappa | 48 comments I love the classic shorts and am always searching online for free ones. Thanks for this link. In honor of Women in Horror month (February) I read Mary Shelley's The Mortal Immortal. This story was so wonderful; psychological horror at its best. She wrote many shorts actually, but Frankenstein, of course, was her big hit. I've got her short story on my blog site if you care to read it.
