Still Life question

Still Life has already been made into a movie but I see where you're going with this. I would've picked someone more like Tom Selleck. The actor they cast, though I like him in other things, did not fit Gamache description. Not just my opinion but several in our group thought the same.

Checked out the website. Cool idea. Let fans relay to moguls actors they'd like to see in roles rather than casting way off the mark talent.

Funny first person I thought about for Gamache was Tom Selleck. The warm brown eyes must be part of reason why. Even though Gamache is Canadian, I am obsessed with English detectives and thought another good choice would be Roger Allam who plays Thursday on show Endeavor would be a great pick too, despite the English accent:) So, I'd be happy with Tom or Roger.

I enjoyed the recent series, but the actor who played the part wasn't who I would have chosen. Houshang Touzie might work.
