Its a good book, the fact that its such a quick easy read ( I read it in just over 24 hours...not read time but real time :)) wasn't a horrible thing for me either since I still have a stack of books I want to get through.

So true Ladyacct!!!

*Paul: that's what I like about Albom's books... they're power-packed with Life's important messages, although his books are shorter than most.

You're right about that! If you've not read any of Mitch Albom's previous books, then do so. You're in for a treat. Very insightful and thought-provoking.

Hey there Susan!! I have to admit, it took me a while to get into the rhythm of this book, once I did I began to appreciate what Albom was saying. One of my favorite books is "The Five People You Meet in Heaven", that's another reason I like "The Time Keeper", Albom can take a subject such as heaven, and or time and put a unique spin on something people are obsessed with. I don'r agree that the characters are cardboard, I feel the characters reflect the social ailments of our time. just watch the news, bullies, teenage suicide, the obsession with youth. Maybe this book wasn't written to win any prizes, but the message is timeless. D'oh,did I say that? ;D
