It's nice to meet you all!
Welcome Jess! You don't have to be in full communion to be in our group. I am thrilled to have you with us, and I am thrilled you will be starting OCIA. I think at my parish we start next month. I'm part of adult faith formation, and our pastor has the OCIA catechumens attend our weekly discussions. I usually get to help them with questions. If you have any questions on Catholicism, don't be shy in asking. My heart goes out to anyone that has the courage to go to the truth.
By the way, we are reading Lord of the Rings. Perhaps you have already read it can join in our conversation. Here is the folder with the files for that discussion:

No discussion is outdated. Feel free to look over our boards with past reads and if you can jump into a past discussion, you are free to do so. Any questions, just ask.

Welcome Tony! I'm looking forward to learning from you. We just started a new read. Perhaps you can join us. It's Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich. We started a thread on the book here.

Welcome Kate! We did a couple of Pope Benedict XVI’s works. We read the Infancy Narratives from his Jesus of Nazareth series and we did the Vatican II document, Dei Verbum which he had a big hand in writing. I would love to continue with his Jesus of Nazareth series.
Kerstin has already told you about our current read which we are just starting. I hope you join us.

Welcome David. We’re currently reading Julian of Norwich’s Revelations of Divine Love. Which I must admit I’m very late in updating.

Hello everyone,
I’m glad to join this group! My name is Salvatore Grammatico, I’m a psychologist, psychotherapist, and lecturer at the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. My work and research focus on the human search for meaning and how spirituality and psychology can inspire personal growth and resilience.
I recently published a book titled The Theory of Everything Within (available in Italian, English, and Spanish). It explores how the four fundamental forces of physics can be seen as metaphors for love, connection, identity, and transformation—an attempt to build a bridge between science, psyche, and the Gospel.
I would be happy to share some reflections or answer questions about the project if this resonates with the group’s interests. My intention is not just to promote a book, but to open a dialogue about how science and faith can enrich one another.
Looking forward to learning from you all!THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING WITHIN: A symbolic journey through the universe, the psyche, and the Gospel

Welcome, David! :)

Pretty interesting. I’ll have to check it out for sure.
