Like the other poster said "keep reading the series...your "wishes" may come true." Yes Jim Butcher is a good author that loves his good and bad guys very much. Check out the Dresden Files Books for just how much he does.

I started with the first book of Codex Alera three weeks ago and just finished the fourt 3 days ago. If possible, I would eat those books *g*.
Ok, I am a little bit twisted on one side I love to read more and more about the (several) main charakters in the book and on the other side I would (I think I would) like it if maybe a few of them would die... If they are the third time on a mission which should not be possible to fullfill and the danger is all around them and great enemies or a whole army... there should be a few of them dying... Now I do have the feeling Jim Butcher just loves them (the "good" and the "bad" ones) as much as we reader and therefore won`t let them die. But it would be better for the books, what do you think?
