I am dying to know the answer myself but I would say that Percy would give himself up if it meant he could close the doors and give a chance to Annabeth to scape in time, though that would literally make me cry; but I wouldn't put it past him. Riordan knows his stuff and whatever answer he give will probably blows any anticipation we have...
