How did Marcus know about Molly the camel and Mr. Tovar? He spoke to them as if he knew them from before but He wasn't with Kira on their mission the find a Partial. Did I miss something?

The team consist of Kira, Haru, Jayden, Soon, Skinny and Swimpy and Bruce. Marcus refused to go. I don't remember Kira telling Marcus about meeting Mr. Tovar and the camel! maybe I missed it?

Marcus did actually meet the camel and Mr. Tovar at the start of the book when Kira, Marcus and Jayden we're out on a scouting mission to this old vet clinic or something and then was blown up and they needed some place to heal one of guys that got injured from the explosion, when they came across Mr. Tovars house.
