I absolutely wanted to read this book but couldn't find it at the secondhand bookshop and it is too expensive to buy (34 euro!) and so I went to the library.

-Purple Hibiscus - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
-The Bean Trees - Barbara Kingsolver
-The Fellowship of the Ring..."
I really enjoyed Purple Hibiscus and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Must admitt, both novels much more liked than expected.
I'm grabbing the Moviegoer (Percy) and Out of Africa (Dinesen) for my Thanksgiving break.

Now I am reading, I'd Like to Apologize to Every Teacher I Ever Had by Tony Danza

I'm heading towards Germany in my Around the World challenge.. as soon as I finish my France chapter..

Ignorance
Mortal Engines
Bend Sinister
Half of a Yellow Sun
Magic Bites
Identity
Laughable Loves
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
Chew, Vol. 1: Taster's Choice
All used too! Can't wait until they come in! Does anyone else get as excited as me when books arrive in the mail?

However, I just purchased Trigger Warning: Short Fictions and Disturbances by Neil Gaiman and The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro. Can't let these two authors pass by--and I just purchased my third copy of Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, since I keep giving that one to friends. When Terry Pratchett died recently, I wanted to put the book back on my shelves; he and Neil Gaiman had so much fun writing it, and Gaiman's tributes to Pratchett are very moving.

Technically speaking I neither bought nor borrowed books today. I won the 1st prize of the Morocco Mall's Fnac culture store's April book lottery. I won 100 books I selected during 1h30 among a pre-selection of the store. Those 100 books have a value of about 2.500 USD. I chose mostly literature novels from diverse origins and also a few books on fine arts.

That is an amazing prize. How lucky you are!
Which book are you going to read first?
