Thanks :) I took it before the Lady Gaga concert so I actually had some makeup on for a change, so that helped! lol

Yeah just 2 more books to go but I am struggling to find one of them. I will be really miffed if I get tripped up on the last hurdle!

Oh that would be horrible! I know since I got that issue with the mishmash challenge and now I can't seem to find a book that will be published next month that I want to read. So it is starting to really annoy me. I hope you have better luck. :)

Thanks, the concert was awesome but cold, you would never have believed it was the middle of summer! And I agree I really did look miserable in my old pic!

That is exactly the problem I am having. I can find a book to read that meets the requirements of the challenge but not one that I actually want to read. But knowing my competitive nature I will end up reading the boring book anyway. Lol

Well not so much miserable as angry and trying to keep people at a distance.

My new years resolution is not to read any more boring books! :) I have found books that I want to read, but they are either second editions or are released on 31 december 2012 and that really ticks me off. :D Or they are released in april 2013. Also my budget for buying books is very little at the moment so I don't want to buy books I don't really want to read.

What is the task you're struggling with? The movers and shakers task in Exploring Goodreads?

Yeah that's the one. The only book I am really interested in reading is only released on December 18th. I have requested it from net galley and have had no repley. I could always just wait until the release date and then get the ebook but I am going away on the 12th to the middle of nowhere so I doubt I will have internet access. So you see my plan to finish before Christmas might be foiled after all.

What is it that you need?

You might have internet access where you are going. Can you ask someone if that is the case, so you will know for sure? Because if you do you might get to read what you want.
Either way, if you wait or not you will still have won and it is quite the achievement!

I think you are right Barbara I will just wait for it to come out and see about the internet. I am really not in the mood to read a book I am not interested in just for the sake of it.

Then you shouldn't have to. It is not like someone is going to sneak up on you and beat you and finish before Christmas. I know I won't and the rest don't read that fast. :)
