Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments Threads? As in trousers?

Man, I'm confused.

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Go to the authors' section and click on the little link in black at the right hand side Jackie. This will drop down a list of hundreds! If you still can't find it, let me know and I'll bump your thread for you!

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Aren't they 'strides'? ;)

message 4: by Michael (new)

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments I thought strides were the tall things from The War of the Worlds.

message 5: by Kath (new)

Kath | 1233 comments were they "new release" threads cos they get deleted after a few months - housekeeping...?

message 6: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments It's possible if it hasn't been posted in for ages that it has been removed... #

But it would have to have been months and months

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Only one author thread per author is allowed.

If you had more than one, the others would have been deleted.

Sorry.

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments The way I get around that rule, is by releasing different books under different names.

Then I register for Goodreads under different accounts, and create dozens of threads.

Sometimes, I drop subtle hints or make references to who I really am.

Gives me a warm glow inside, it does.

(Don't delete me. Please.)

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments Good trick Michael. The downside is that you occasionally wake up to find a severed horses head in bed with you.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments Which to be fair is probably less worrying than waking up to a live horse in bed with you

I've often wondered what they did with the rest of the horse

This has left me with the mental picture of three burly italian gentlemen dragging a dead horse, sans head, up the back street toward the door of the take-away.
It gives an entirely different take on 'make him an offer he cannot refuse!'
