Can't believe there isn't a discussion thread about Arrow yet, considering it's a superhero show based on a comic book!

I'm loving it. I love the way they reveal a little bit more of his time on the island every episode, rather than dragging it out like some shows do. I haven't read the comic books, so I don't know how it compares. Who has read them?

And, OMG, did anyone else notice Captain Jack (John Barrowman) in the last episode?!? I freaked! I <3 him so much! :)

Its based more on the newer version of the comic book. I think is awful It's to much of a bad guy of a week type of show. Just hoping the Black Canary shows up, and the Huntress is there already. They have done nothing with her. The love story can go cause its a bore.

I'm really liking how well it's done. It looks like this just might be a worthy replacement for Smallville.

I do, however, have a bit of a problem with how morose Oliver Queen is. They turned him a little bit into a Bruce Wayne/Batman type when he's more the joker/enjoy life kind of character.

And yes, Michelle, I saw Barrowman and I squealed like a little girl seeing One Direction ^_^

I like the show and think they are doing a pretty good job with it. I love that they brought Huntress in and I'm looking forward to other people from the DC universe showing up as well.
