Hi: I uploaded a PDF excerpt for my book, The Global Indie Author: How anyone can self-publish in the U.S. and worldwide markets, 2nd edition weeks ago but it is still "pending." How long does it take to go live?

Should take moments. Once one of mine was on 'pending' for hours; it had got stuck; I started again, and it took moments - like the others have. I thought that was my computer or connection, but I don't know. Upload again?

Or if it's approval you're waiting for, that takes about a day. I've forgotten the stages, sorry, but whatever's wrong, I'd simply do it again.

Unfortunately, the system will not let me try again. Once it's pending there is not a mechanism to upload again.

No. "Pending processing."

It gets worse. Someone took it upon themselves to combine the first and second editions of my book even though they are two separate books and the combination is not in line with GR's posted policy on combining editions. That may be what is partly to blame. I don't know. All I know is that it is seriously messed up and I didn't do it.

Sounds like when mine was 'stuck' then. I forget exactly, but try what you can to reload, cancel/start again.
