"To you as well, Imogen," Skye responded, with a slight smile which darkened when she saw Imogen's expression as the other woman looked over her outfit. Skye looked down, feeling self-concious, as she saw her yellow outfit. Of course. Imogen was famous for her taste in blander outfits at the Ministry. That was one of the reasons Skye disliked Imogen. She had too much taste. To avoid saying anything else, she took another bite of her muffin.
Skye pressed her lips together until they were only a thin line. "I have, and on most points I agree with it." She took the scroll and tucked it into her workbag that was already overflowing with papers, some of them not altogether work related. "I believe that an employee should have the right to dress in bright colors, but they shouldn't go over the top with it." She wasn't going over the top with it, was she? Just her sunshine yellow shirt and then a gray vest with gray pants.
Skye was going to respond to Imogen's little speech, but decided against it. Miss Lee had walked away anyway. She sighed a little. She already had a gigantic workload, and now she had to add that little paper to the mix. Well, she couldn't disobey a senior Ministry officer, even if it was kind of an unorthodox command. She finished her muffin, threw the wrapper into the trash, and left for her office, silently cursing herself for being detained for so long. She should have been in her office 2 minutes and 3.2 seconds ago and counting.

Robin apparated inside the atrium and began towards the elevator. She could have apparated straight to her office, but she took pleasure in saying good morning to her coworkers. She'd smile nicely and say "Hello, Dan! Morning coffee?" or "Good morning, Karen! You look lovely." or the like with whomever she was greeting.
She received polite, kind smiles in return, which usually helped brighten her morning. She noticed Skye Lerwick pass by after speaking with Imogen Lee by the looks of it. She briefly wondered what they were discussing, but it would seem rude to pry and it was likely that none of it concerned her. She waved and smiled as Skye walked by, undoubtedly off to her office. She approached Imogen as well.
"Good Morning, Imogen! You look lovely this morning!" She smiled easily. To be honest, Imogen was a bit of the cold sort. She was a very efficient being though. She always seemed to be working hard and looking proper. She supposed it would be odd to see them together since Robin always dressed so casual in her yoga pants and sweaters and Imogen always visibly put-together and business appropriate. Robin fidgeted with her glasses, a nervous habit.

Eva apparated into the centre of the Atrium, her smile bright and cheery, even with the early hour. She walked over to the canteen, ordering a latte. She chatted with the people around for a minute, before taking her latte and walking over to the lifts to go to her office.

Jacobi appears using the flu-network. Green flames burst to life as he steps out with his breif case in hand. He walks toward the large fountain each stride a bit longer and faster than the one before. He was trying to avoid anyone from stopping and talking to him.
Jacobi seemed to be in a bit of a hurry and his seriousness seemed to be reverberating off of him. His jaw was clinched and he seemed to hold a darkened glint in his eyes.
One may assume a deatheater had just stepped into the Atrium had they not seen him there before. His eyes were fixed on the elevator. he was hurridly making his way to its gates.

-Enter Dmitri-
Dmitri walked in, looking emmaculately impeccable as usual in his gray robes. He walked up to the front desk and said to the perky little blonde Claudia, "Coffee. Black."
Claudia nodded nervously and got his coffee, going quicker than usual. Dmitri nodded and took a sip. "Send Arnold Peasegood up as soon as possible. My office is raining. A petty prank to be sure." He took another sip and Claudia went back behind the help desk, practically cowering there.

Dmitri took another sip of coffee as he noticed Celise come and get a cup of tea. He nodded briefly to her, but didn't say anything. He was looking around the atrium, scanning the room for people of worth and also for Arnold Peasegood. He could do the anti-rain thing himself, of course, but he didn't feel like it, and Arnold was very fun to intimidate.

Friand walked into the Atrium, wearing his usual suit and tie, and he went to get a cup of coffee with his usual mug that was black with a Hogwarts logo on it and a Gryffindor sign on the other side. He poured himself the coffee and sat down to drink it, looking around and seeing Dmitri drinking coffee, and just seeing Celise leave after placing down her mug in what he assumed to be its usual spot.
Dmitri looked at his gold wristwatch, nodded slightly to Friand, and went up to his office. He most likely had a bunch of stuff waiting for him.

Robin made her way to the Atrium from her office by taking the Lift. She was unsure about the news to come and was nervously fiddling with a blonde lock of hair. She joined a group of people that were all waiting for Imogen to make the big announcement. What could it be? Something bad for sure... Was He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named back? No, he was truly destroyed as everyone knew. She sipped her water, trying to calm the beating heart of hers that only seemed to thump quicker with anxiety. She looked around at the other workers around her. None of them seemed to know what was going on either.
-Enter Skye-
Skye was fidgeting nervously and standing all by herself on the edges of the Atrium. Surely she wouldn't be involved in this... she hadn't been at the Ministry long enough to hold a place of importance. She bit her bottom lip. What could it be? She chewed her lip and her fingers twitched occasionally. She couldn't stand the suspense.
-Enter Dmitri-
Dmitri casually walked into the Atrium and seemed to overflow with confidence, control, and quiet power. It calmed a few of the people, because if a senior Ministry head was acting like everything was fine, it couldn't be that bad. But Dmitri's mind was flying wild with possibilities. Giants? There had been a sighting in Surrey a few weeks ago. Dragons in Romania? They had been torching a few towns there. Group of rogue wizards? Who knew. In the wizarding world, anything was possible.

Eva walked in, rolling her eyes at all of the worried people. She was worried herself, but she would never show it. She walked over to where there was a group of people, but seeing no one she liked, she walked over to the fountain and sat on the edge.
((Shouldn't Imogen be down in the Atrium?))

"Good morning, Oliver." She greeted him courteously. "Didn't you hear Imogen? Apparently she has some urgent news to tell everyone, so that's why there's a crowd." She explained, wondering how he could have missed the announcement. Perhaps he had just arrived a moment ago? She was always so conflicted being around him. Part of him irritated her to no end and the other labeled him as harmless. He had his good moments, however rarely.

He rubbed his temples and took a sip of the hot back liquid in the cup. He joined the throng of onlookers in wait of Imogen's news. Though he was less inclined to excitement as he had other things on his mind.

"Thanks." She went to grab the apple Oliver was offering, but then remembered that Friand might want it as well. "Unless you wanted it?" She asked before she took the apple from Oliver's hand.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, but I still can't help but worry that it's something serious, and I'd love to hear that story sometime, if you'd be willing to tell it, it sounds like a wonderful yarn." He added at the end, indicating he might like to meet for drinks or something.

Robin could not help but frown slightly when he referred to the weekly meeting he referred to. It really verged on abusive for her and not in the least something that she looked forward to. She was thankful for Friand's company to serve as a buffer between her and Oliver. She wondered how he dealt with Oliver so easily.
"Oh, sorry Oliver." A girl's voice was heard as she bumped into said man. It was Eva. She thought of her as a respectable and kind girl, though she hoped quidditch wouldn't come up in conversation.
"Hello, Eva!" She smiled in greeting.

I'm fine. She told herself I'm fine. She took a deep breathe to calm herself. She wasn't going to have a fit today. She'd been doing so well. Her last one was a little more than a month ago and she was trying to manage herself better.

"I hope she comes soon too. The anticipation is killing me!" She smiled. He definitely did have some Gryffindor qualities to him what with his pride and need for mischief. She took another sip of her water, washing out the disgusting jelly bean flavor from her mouth.
"It is difficult to imagine you as anything other than a Gryffindor." She meant it too. He wasn't modest or sweet enough to be a hufflepuff and his cleverness did not favor intelligence in the way it does with Ravenclaws. Slytherin would also be fitting for his dark sense of humor, but anyone could tell just by looking at him, that he is much too jolly to come from such a house.
Dmitri looked on with displeasure at the group of people talking directly behind him. All of them were tolerable, although that Robin was a nice person to play around with. Oliver was a right pain in the arse and Eva was just annoying. He clenched his teeth together, becoming more curious as to what could be going on.

"Scum, no, I was thinking more along the lines of boring," said Dmitri. He nodded curtly to Oliver. He couldn't directly offend the official - it wouldn't be good for his reputation. "I do share your views about Lee hurrying up, however; I have half a mind to discover what is up and about myself." He leered unpleasantly at Robin before nodding again to the group of them before walking away, his robes swishing.

Robin realized she was grasping her water bottle so tightly that her knuckles were turning white, so she loosened her grip and took another breath. She kept her anger and frustration down, locked away with her other complaints and feelings of rage and anger. She sipped her water, trying to just distract herself now.
She noticed that Friand had slipped away and she wondered where he had gone because she needed some of his sanity at the moment.

"What is it?" wondering what she could ever need of him that she couldnt' get from one of her own underlings.

"Hard to believe that all this happened so suddenly though, fist his son in St. Mungos, and now the kidnapping. No wonder He stepped down." I knew that it was something bad. I just knew it. he thought, unhappy that this seemingly normal day had taken such an abnormal turn for the worse.

"I think youd be good at it." she said, shrugging. Eva wasnt extremely fazed about the news, or at least that was the way she was showing it. She continued to toss the ball back and forth.
Dmitri raised his eyebrows slightly. The Minister's son... and the Minister was stepping down? He licked his lips. This could be just the opportunity he had been looking for. To most he wasn't as likeable as he could have been, but they would surely see his mind and powers of leadership as great benefits. He needed to think.
-Exit Dmitri-
Skye just kind of hung back with her mouth slightly agape, wondering how any of this applied to her. It wouldn't change her schedule much, that much was certain. She dipped her head in the direction of no one and walked distractedly out of the Atrium, not quite sure what to do.

Skye stepped out of the huge marble fireplace, her eyes still puffy with sleep. She brushed ash off her robes and adjusted them before continuing over to the staff canteen for something. A granola bar or something maybe. Just something to keep her from dropping to the ground with exhaustion. She had stayed up way past midnight the other night writing, and she vowed that she would never do that again. She saw Imogen Lee standing there and sipping her coffee, but Skye didn't acknowledge her as she asked one of the staff for a muffin. The muffin was still warm when a perky blonde named Claudia brought it and she ate it with small, tentative bites, watching Imogen out of the corner of her eye. She respected the Ravenclaw, but didn't entirely like her enough to be friends. She didn't have enough imagination.
