Sheila (sheilaj) | 1 comments OK I'll ask away on the misc. group would words like drum or violin work or does it actually need to be worded musical instrument. Same with fruit - does apple or banana cover that. Same with ER Vehicle, cop car, firetruck, ambulance?

Any instrument,fruit,or ER vehicle works

But I will ask Dawn what she thinks

This is what Dawn says

For insturment the actual insturment needs to be mentioned not orchestra or band.

Fruit needs to be the actual fruit too, not something like her peach toned skin.

Emergency vehicles would be police car, fire truck, ambulance, not sure what else would work here.

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "For Tail~Can it be either paranormal human or animal?"

Yes to both. It is a body part though so tail of an airplane would not work.

here is what Dawn said also for body part

also for body parts if they are on the cover they need to be bare and visible. For example toes can't be covered by socks or shoes.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments Thank you both for answering!

Dawn said she would take all three.

message 16: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Just to try to clarify the body part comments. If it is a picture on the cover you are using, then it needs to really be the body part. If it is in the text of the book you can just find the word or concept.

Jennifer H Would soft curling hair work for curly hair?

message 18: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Jennifer wrote: "Would soft curling hair work for curly hair?"

Yes, any level of curlyness, as long as it is stated as curls not waves.

message 19: by ★Meghan★ (new)

★Meghan★ (starinheaven) I was wondering if "hoodie" would work for "hood"? It is an article of clothing that contains a hood but wanted to double check.

Definitly.

message 22: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) Dawn does it have to be an "actual" tie or the word tie in another context ok?

message 23: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) For example my book has elastic hair ties.

message 24: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) It needs to be the article of clothing tie. I suppose Men's necktie would be what I envisioned but I would take cravat or one of those womens scarves pinned or knotted around the neck (not sure if they have a name).

Bow tie, clip on, bolo tie will all work too.

message 25: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) Ok thanks!

Yes, nylons, pantyhose, hose, stockings would all work for socks, they are all clothing designed for the foot.

For the weather items I will take naturally occuring weather or man made weather. Rainbows from a prism, fog from a machine, lightning from magic etc are all fine.

I'm trying to picture a tie on a jacket. I'm not sure I understand it. Like tying the belt on a jacket maybe? Can you give me a sentence or two so I can see what you are reading.

message 34: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (last edited Nov 30, 2012 03:26PM) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Ok, I am going to accept it. Based on the fact I did not specify Neck Tie, and it is referred to as a tie on clothing. Even if I'd call it a belt.

It is not what I had intended but I was not specific enough so go ahead and take it.

Had to add the book to my TBR.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments So a rope tie will be acceptable?

message 38: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "So a rope tie will be acceptable?"

As in a tie made of rope being worn as an article of clothing? Odd to me but I suppose it would.

Using rope to tie someones hands is not, it has to be clothing.

╰⊱♥⊱╮ღ꧁Kathy,Ahmazing Book Faerie꧂ღ╭⊱♥≺ (mamabear7080) Thanks Dawn! I know what you mean, because I immediately Thought you meant Tie as in Neck tie. I can change books no worries, because I do have books with neck ties in them, but thought Id ask.

scarf looped around her neck would work as a tie.

You can't deny the bad girl streak ;)

message 46: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Random clarification:

Most items listed are sigular, and I would take mutiples. But I wanted to point out two items (Boots and Eyes) are plural. You need to find a reference to the plural form of the word. A cover with with a profile view and only one eye won't work, and a refrence to something like "he kicked the tire with a booted foot" won't work.

╰⊱♥⊱╮ღ꧁Kathy,Ahmazing Book Faerie꧂ღ╭⊱♥≺ (mamabear7080) So Dawn, things like Hood, you would accept hoodie? and do we need sock or is socks acceptable? and like with cake, singular again, so say, cupcakes? accepted or not?

message 48: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) A hoodie is a sweatshirt with a hood, so it will count.

If the item is listed as sigular I will take the sigular or plural forms. So cakes and socks are good.

But if it is listed as plural you have to get more than one in there.
