Mystery Lovers! discussion

Okay. Long time ago I read a book that ended up with a mysterious woman (was she a clone, an alien, what?), who ended up to be Jesse, a prophet coming down to earth to give the people renewed Faith. It was not an overall religious book, more mystery and adventure, and her status as this was only revealed very near the end...Does this sound familiar to anyone? Title, author, possibilities?

And, how about a fictional account of Mary (Jesus' mother)-what her life may have been like? Title, author, any ideas at all?

I don't know but there is a Goodreads group called "What's the Name of That Book?" that might be a good place to post your question. Good luck finding the answers!

I am trying to remember the name of an author. I don't remember the names of the books, but there were three or four that had the same characters. There was an FBI guy in Washington. He was divorced and had two daughters, one who died and was an organ donor. There was a woman who I think was a sheriff somewhere in Oregon? They were sort of involved long distance. In one of the books, the exwife gets conned by a guy who says he was the recipient of one of her daughters organs. Does this sound familiiar to anyone??
