Holli I like to walk around the outdoor malls and also explore stuff around town. During the winter here in Ohio you don't really want to get out much but in the Spring and Summer I try to get out every day....sometimes I just sit out on my front porch with a book and soak up the sun!

Peanut | 149 comments Belly dance gets me moving. And now that I'm part of the troupe, I'm involved more in people's personal lives, too. Kind of nice. Does take away from my reading at times though! :)

Kathy | 66 comments I must admit that I'm not a winter person. I have snow shoes but it's been too cold! I do love the water and in the warm months I do as much kayaking as I can. I kayak on lakes and rivers.

KrisT | 553 comments I do walk in the mall 3 times a week but I have a book on my ears!! ha
I love to go out hiking with my hubby and we do certain bike trails or we forge our own, usually on the weekends. I do some stair climbing to get some music in when I can.

message 5: by Sydney (new)

Sydney (sydneyh) I run, but I don't classify myself as a runner... yet. I started running last year with the goal of running a 5K and finishing it. I actually ended up running 3 5Ks last year, hoping to get back into it again this year as the weather warms up. I'm not fast... my goal is to simply finish with a better time each race. (This year's goal is to run a 5K in less than 30 minutes... putting me at 6 miles/hour.)

I still don't like running, but I don't hate it anymore. That's half the battle!

Katie (katieisallbooked) | 319 comments I love to run outside! The treadmill is okay, but it's just not the same.

I also really enjoy yoga, walking, strength training & the elliptical.

Emily (ejfalke) | 576 comments Now that it's warming up a bit I'm going to get out and walk more. I'm starting to get really achy!

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie (bloominchick) I've been using the stationery bike at home since January. We don't have the tread mill set up in a good spot yet. I like to go for walks when the weather's good. Gardening is my thang for getting myself moving!

message 9: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (missbrittany) | 336 comments I walk 1-2 times a week with my pastor's wife, for 45-60 minutes. I also do Wii Fit aerobics, yoga, and strength training 4 times a week for 20-60 minutes depending on how I feel. This is all new, though...as of this month. So far I am unwavering. :)

Katie Casey (ktcasey9) | 11 comments I've got 2 big dogs that convince me to go walking at least 30 minutes every day. Often an hour or more! They are good exercise buddies.

Melissa (lissieb7) | 544 comments I recently started using Kinetic, an exercise game for the PS2. I also love visiting flea markets, antique stores, and thrift stores. I have a creative side and like making little artsy, craftsy things. Church also keeps me quite busy. I keep my two little nephews. They probably keep me busier than anything else.

Katie (katieisallbooked) | 319 comments My employer recently started a "work out at work" program. It's coordinated with the local hospital and we do circuit-style cardio and strength training. It's $20/month for 30 minutes on our Tuesday & Friday lunch hours. We're just wrapping up our first month and I feel like it's been beneficial enough to sign up again for next month.
