message 9: by Sara ♥ (last edited Feb 24, 2009 12:25PM) (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) Ummmm... wow. I thought I read a lot of books, but I've only read 26 books this year! Even when I was job searching... well... Okay, but I was reading YA stuff, not OUTLANDER and FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING!

How did you like books 5-14 of Stephanie Plum? Were they worth reading? I loved #4 so much that I'm afraid to keep going... I figure it can only go downhill from there!

Ohh.. I've been meaning to read Wicked Lovely. Was it good? Oh, and how about Charlaine Harris--is she a good author?

Did you like Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging? I think I like the title "Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas" better... :)

Sorry for all the questions! Have fun reading while you can! (Until you get a job and get super busy...)

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) wow, you read fast

message 11: by rebecca j (new)

rebecca j (technophobe) | 6029 comments I've been reading since I was 4, so I guess I've had a lot of practice. Also don't have tv service, so read instead.

Sara - the Plum books continue to be good, I recommend continuing. My 70 yr. old mother bought a copy of #11 at the dollar store, and told me she loved it, it makes her laugh out loud!

Wicked Lovely was excellent, can't wait to read Ink Exchange!

Charlaine Harris is one of my favorites, and we have a thread about the Sookie Stackhouse books on TNBBC.

Angus, Thongs, ... was terrificly funny! May have to read some more of that series!

I loved Outlander, but it took forever to read. Jamie made it all worthwhile of course!

My brain needed a break so I've spent the last few days reading old Harlequins - I don't have to think when I'm reading those!

Sara ♥ (saranicole) How'd you like AGaTB?

message 22: by rebecca j (new)

rebecca j (technophobe) | 6029 comments It was excellent. If you like fantasy in a historical setting this book has it all. Just enough magic to make the story interesting, with great historical setting, and it really makes you want to read the next book! I became very attached to the main characters, and can't wait to see what happens next!

message 23: by Sara ♥ (new)
