Good for him. I expect that would have ruined my consentration and taken me out of the hunt. That and the fact that I don't actually know how to golf.

You?

I suppose it's different if you're playing in a PGA tourney for a couple hundred thousand dollars with an international tv audience?

Or, he has anxiety issues.

:)

Susan | 6406 comments I can play. You have to be mindful of your swing and aim just so but if you do it right you can have such a nice shot.

Othello. Now there's a game.

Not as much fun playing against the computer...

Susan | 6406 comments This is true. I have it on my Fire. I would much rather beat the pants off of the husband instead.

message 9: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments So you end up with an unhappy husband wearing no pants?

::figures SusEd knows a way or two to cheer up a depressed naked husband::

Susan | 6406 comments If my husband is without pants, he is never unhappy.

message 11: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Now I'm really confused.

Phil is just taking the piss. How is that confusing?

Mr. Amy doesn't like games. Hence the video games. I can play that on my own...

Susan | 6406 comments Husband won't play games anymore. We use to play all kinds of board games after he proclaimed he could beat me at Clue. He even went out and bought Risk, saying he would definitely beat me at that. He is very good at Checkers, though, but only plays at work.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Maybe that was it. When we were dating, he bought me the game Risk. I kicked his arse sideways, all the while talkin' smack. I likes me the smack talkin' during games. Momma Wendy taught me, though, so it can't be wrong. I can still hear her laugh when I think about rummy and the invention of the horrible name "cheat-bag!".

I think I'll try again.

Susan | 6406 comments We sound the same as! I love smack talkin' even if I am losing. I just can't help myself.
