In the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving on the 22nd of November. In honor of that day, this week's question is...

I'm thankful for seeing another day and for God sparing my life. I have a blood clot in my leg and it could have traveled to my lungs, heart or brain and God didn't allow. I had it for 6 days, before finding out that I had one in my leg. God is so good to me and I thank him for that. He has work for me to do!

Carolyn F. Oh my gosh Arch, that's wonderful! My neighbor on a 4th of July told me off-handed that she had a clot in her leg and I told her she really needed to see her doctor about it. She just ho-hummed me and then a week later just up and died of it! She was married with a teenage son and was only around 45! She was a little overweight but walked all the time so she was pretty healthy. Those clots are nothing to ignore. Praise the Lord Arch!

Duchess Nicole | 154 comments I am so thankful for many things. The health of my children is a biggie. I have also been blessed with my soul mate...his steadfast love and our passion for each other is one of God's greatest gifts to me. Money comes and goes, and there are always hard times ahead. But I truly believe that with the love of my husband and our faith in God, we are happy no matter what. I love my life!! I am thankful that I have learned contentment. I see so many people searching for happiness, and I somehow stumbled upon it... Lucky me!! Happy Thanksgiving, all!

I am thankful that we made it safely on our trip to visit relatives and to see my family again, especially my 92 year old grandmother. Also for all of God's manifold blessings to us, including his son Jesus. I am grateful for all the folks on Goodreads that I am able to chat with and for all the members on the DHASG. I am thankful that my health problems have not progressed to a greater degree than they could have. I have learned a lot about things I didn't think much about before. Like you indicated, Duchess, money is the least of blessings that you can have in this life.

I am grateful that your blood clot wasn't fatal as well, Arch!

Thanks to everyone for sharing your blessings with us!

Thanks Carolyn and Danielle. After finding out that I had a blood clot, I've learned that other people had it and died. I've went to the doctor last week and was told that I had a little left behind my knee. It was from my calf to my knee. I can't wait until it's gone.

Duchess Nicole | 154 comments Wonderful list of blessings, Lily! Isn't it funny how we all value the same things, ultimately?! I can copy/paste most of these posts!!
