Audiobooks discussion

In an effort to get people doing Whispersync (me thinks) it appears Audible/Amazon is offering some really good audiobook classics at prices near or at $0.00 IF you already own them on the Kindle.

This works really well for classics, since many of the classics cost nearly nothing on the Kindle. Here are some examples I just picked up:

1. Heart of Darkness: Signature Performance by Branagh - Cost $0.00
2. Dracula [Audible Edition] - Curry/Cummings - Cost $0.00
3. Gulliver's Travels: Signature Performance by David Hyde Pierce - Cost $0.00
4. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: A Signature Performance by Elijah Wood - Cost $0.00
5. The Three Musketeers: John Lee - Cost $0.00
6. A Tale of Two Cities: Simon Vance - Cost $0.00
7. Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man: John Lee - Cost $0.00

both price drop and free appear here. I have picked up quite a few lately where the book was free or $1.99 then the audible was $4.99 - $7.99

Yeah, most of those I linked to had free or cheap Kindle books (public domain) linked to free audible books making them Whispersync compatable.

I bought a couple more audible books that were only $1-$3:

I found quite a few American Literature (Classics umbrella) that were under $5.
