Our Time-Warner Cable/Internet service provider is having system-wide trouble with its e-mail. That means that my addies, which end with @nycap.rr.com, @roadrunner.com, or @adelphia.com, do not work.

At present, I cannot receive any kind of email at all on my Outlook Express. Thank goodness I have a Yahoo addy which I can use to send important messages... since I can still access the Net via my browser.

Of course, there's always my Goodreads mailbox.

But I'm not able to receive notifications about new comments at this group. I have to check for comments by clicking on the word "unread" at the group.

Are you locals having trouble receiving email today?

Gmail had trouble this morning, but it was cleared up by 6:15am for me. It upset some folks:

Thanks for the info, Jim. I wonder if the cause of the Gmail problem was related to the cause of the Time Warner problem. I know they are two separate services, but still, one never knows nowadays.

I have no idea what Gmail's issue was or what Time-Warner's is, so no way to tell. Our email seems fine, so I'd guess it was just a coincidence.

Yes, a strange coincidence. Aren't they all strange? (lol)

My OE is now receiving my mail. Thank goodness. I was even starting to miss the spam! LOL
