I like both the Twi saga and The Host for separate reasons. But I do hope Stephenie writes more novels, I really like the way she writes.

I love twilight and i really really like the host but twilight is better and i hope stephenie writes more too

I love the twilight saga!!!! i hope to be a writer some day. im writing a story sort-of like the twilight books. some people say i write really good and some people think It is a waste of time. what do you guys think?

I don't think its a waste of time. Writing can be an outlet and keeps your creativity alive. I find as I got older and didn't do those creative things I enjoy as much, I have kinda lost what I had.

I loved Twilight also. Haven't read 'The Host' yet, but good to know some people really liked it!

The Host is much better then Twilight. I think the idea is much better.

I agree but it's missing that addictive quality that the Twilight series has. I especially love The Host's characters.

Twilight is great but i think the Host is better. The Host let us see the beauty of human's love even though they lost their senses . The Host let us think about the good and bad sides of humanity . Twilight is good , but the story didn't make me think so much ... it's so simple like a fairy tale :|

I liked Twilight, it was fun reading it. however after reading other kinds of vampire books (especially Vampire Diaries) I realized that it wasn't the best vampire story written. but I REALLY like the Host better. can't wait for the sequel.

I can't compare other vampire books with twilight cause every book is diff. And has it's own little perks that make it good.

I love the Twilight books and I won't compare it to this because those were written without experience but they touched me. The Twilight books will always have a special part in my heart no matter what.

I think Twilight is an awesome series. I just hate how obnoxious it's become since the movies, you know what I mean? We have all these crazy hot-actor-obsessed stupid Twilight girls. Very annoying. Definitely degrading to the series, in my opinion.

I really agree. The Host really makes you think about who we are and how bad it looks that "murder is an accepted part of life". But it really makes you think about the good and bad of humanity. I think it was philosophical without Stephenie Meyer actually meaning it to :) But still. Twilight is really fun to read, but the Host is more of a classic, in my opinion.

I hate Twilight. It's a sad excuse for a book. I mean, sparkley vampires? that's stupid! The Host was much better!

Twilight is not about sparkly vampires. That's a side note in the book. The main concept is what makes the series so popular, not the "sparkly vampire" part of it.

I'd still have to agree with Maralina that The Host is a waaay better book. It's an original story and it's suspenseful and interesting throughout the whole of the book.

I actually like Twilight series and take into consideration that she made up her own mythology. She's no lemming! I mean, anyone can write a zombie story. Did Resident Evil ever get slack because they changed the mythology to have the zombies running and chasing fast? No! They didn't. Her story is a very catching one that is intentionally written from the lovesick Bella's point of view. Like your really just reading her diary. For her first writing to have such a thought out backstory, kuddos!

i liked the whole twilight series but i think the first book was the best. I think the Host is the best book she wrote :)

They were okay. I loved it at first but i'm over it now.... xD
