RIP, PJF. Philip Jose Farmer was one of those authors I wish I would have discovered a decade before I did. He told the kind of stories I want to tell and I'll miss him.
I never became a fan of Farmer. Growing up, developing my SF tastes, he just never appealed to me.That said, however, one of my all-time favorite books is his The Other Log of Phileas Fogg, the "real" story behind Around the World in 80 Days.
