Q. How can I have the same edition cover showing on 5 successive books in a series.

Let me explain. There are several editions of the five modern books each of which successively discusses the five ancient chapters (books) of the Astronomica of Manilius. I have combined several of these modern editions, but after doing so the default covers are different.

How can I arrange things so that each of the five editions shows the same default book cover, i.e. a book cover from one edition?

Setting the default edition is a staff (or author) job. Us plebs cannot do that. Rivka can do that after the weekend.

Cool, except, that the first editions of the five in the series are not listed. These would be the best to default to. I will see if I can find them online over the next week or two or three, and find some covers to go with. Also, I want to do some more fiddling with Manilius (my Masters thesis topic :) ) and Housman. I owe it to the two chaps to get it right.

So, can we hold off on the staff changes for a while. How about I post here when I think it is ok to proceed with a default version?

The only clue that anyone has that you want a change to the default is in this thread. I expect that nothing will happen until you are ready.

If authors wish to change the defaults, they may do so. I will not be doing so.

(In this case, where the author is definitely not a GR member (being dead), the defaults will remain as the most shelved editions.)
