Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I've never had this happen but I just added an illustrator to this book: A Man for All Seasons and keyed in Wil Clay and have done so twice and each time after saving it shows in all caps. Anybody else had this happen or have any idea why it would happen? Thanks.

Edit: My caps lock is not locked and the name is not in all caps until after I've hit the save button. Thanks.

Lisa, it looks like someone has already fixed this instance, but this happens when an author profile already exists with that capitalization. You can't fix it on a book record; you have to edit the author profile and change the capitalization there.

It's not because he's a second author. It's because he was already entered in all caps. That requires an edit of the author directly to fix. (Which I did, before I wandered off.)
