Secondly, I want to buy the second book either in epub or .mobi but I only find it in paperback on Amazon and B&N. Does anyone know where I can purchase an electronic copy of the 2nd book?

It hasn't been published yet. The expected publish date is 12/11/12. ^^; I'm sure it'll be released in kindle format (and the other formats) on the 11th.

Hi there, thanks for this. I've put a reminder on my phone to check Amazon tomorrow :) I really liked the story and I'm one of those people that HAVE to finish the series!

Lol, I am too. Harry Potter about drove me insane waiting for each book. I'm glad you enjoyed Shield of Fire. I'll admit, I like Kiss of the Betrayer a little more, but don't tell anyone. :)

Is anyone else on a Kobo? I'm having a problem with the formatting the text is tiny and I can barely read it. I've struggled through the first few chapters and the book seems really great but my eyes hurt after reading it. When I try to increase the font size it just zooms in on the page which I thought was weird so then I have to manipulate the page around. I'm thinking that is because I had to side load it as a PDF and that isn't working so great.

Just wondering if anyone else on a Kobo has a suggestion on how to fix it?

Tammy, what file type do you usually load for Kobo?

Hi Michele, I believe Kobo is usually epub. I tried a converter but it didn't convert to a readable size. I've since found a conversion for my playbook that has random text in the middle of a Page but at least I can read around it so far it is just a little inconvenient and annoying. I'm almost done though.
