Joseph (bluemanticore) | 216 comments Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series is one of the best PNR series out there. It has fairies and vampires as main characters, along with a multitude of other fantasy beings. It starts with Witchling.
You might also like Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series. The title character of this UF series is a witch and her two partners are a vampire and a pixie. It starts with Dead Witch Walking.

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments ive heard really good thing's about this series & it has been recommended to me numerous times & I think its about time to read it! Thanks for bringing it up again.

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments The Rachel Morgan series is great but I admit that I didn't really like it until after book two. The first one has a lot of character and world building so sometimes it seemed to drag a little more me so just be prepared for that.

I felt that way with Vampire Academy but ended up falling in love with it! I'll check it out :) Thanks!

Ashley (shinhbang) | 152 comments You could always give the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole a try! :)It has pretty much many kinds of lore creatures including what you're looking for.

Jenny | 114 comments I would second the Rachel Morgan series. I have read them all except for the last one which is in my TBR pile very quickly. The first one is good and you should read it so understand what happens in the rest. Each are individual stories but they build from one book to the next.
I've read the first 4 of Yasmine Galenorm Sister of the Moon series and it is good.
If you like faries and vamp's have you read Karen Chance's series.
Cassie Palmer:
Touch the Dark (Cassandra Palmer, #1) by Karen Chance Claimed By Shadow (Cassandra Palmer, #2) by Karen Chance Embrace the Night (Cassandra Palmer, #3) by Karen Chance Curse the Dawn (Cassandra Palmer, #4) by Karen Chance Hunt the Moon (Cassandra Palmer, #5) by Karen Chance
or the Dorina Bascab's series
Midnight's Daughter (Dorina Basarab, #1) by Karen Chance Death's Mistress (Dorina Basarab, #2) by Karen Chance Fury's Kiss (Dorina Basarab, #3) by Karen Chance

J.L. Sheppard (jlsheppard) The Argeneau vampire series by Lynsay Sands is amazing! I read all 17 books in three weeks! I know! It sounds crazy, but it's true! I've reread at least ten of them too.

I love the Argeneau vamps too Jeanette. Aren't some of them just too dreamy for words? And I really LOVE Marguerite--wouldn't you love to meet her and have her find you your very own Vamp?

message 13: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 14 comments I second Karen Marie Moning Fever series. Also try Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost spectacular series. You can also try the Iron Fey series leaning a bit towards the UF side but still a good series.

Tina Pegar (rainingdaisy) I am really into the Iron Fae series by Julie Kagawa.

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) Nightwalker (Dark Days, #1) by Jocelynn Drake have vampires and Fae on it. But Fae is the villain. The book just 6, not too much to collect and start to read :)

OMG! Yes Marguerite's book is my favorite! I have read it four times, and I picked up the series this August. I also love, love the sisters, Alex, Sam and Jo's books too!

★ʜɑʋɘɳ★ (_-haven-_) | 39 comments I am totally on board with the Fever series by Karen Moning.
If you love a great plot (not just uncalled for drama), an interesting world and awesome characters you must read this.

The romance story is kinda slow building, but it's absolutely worth waiting for. You won't be disappointed. And since all five books have been published, you won't have to endure cliffhangers.

If you don't mind YA, The Iron Fey series is my current choice. An easy read and not a ton of teen drama. I like the story line. It's similar to most faery novels yet a refreshing twist.

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments I say if you haven't read the fever series by Karen Marie moning run, screaming "fire" to wherever it is you get your books...if you order them online than you don't need to scream fire, but act like there is one & it can only be extinguished by reading this entire series. There is a spin-off series called "iced" & in 2015 there are going to be 2 more books to add to the already fantastic "Fever Series".
