Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

Several people expressed an interest in a buddy read of Seduction and Snacks, so feel free to jump in any time after about the 15th! :)

I can't wait!

I'm going to try to jump in for this one. I have wanted to read this for so long now.

Has anyone started this yet. I'm feeling like it's a little over the top.

Oh no. I'm going to start it tomorrow. I know a lot of people thought it was hilarious which made me purchase it but I don't like over the top humor or when it is forced. I can't wait to try it.

It's getting better. I've snorted a few times!

I've just barely started, not even through the first chapter yet. Today is a perfect reading day though - sitting by the fire with snow falling outside, the first college bowl game on TV and a good (I hope) book on my reader...sounds like my idea of heaven! :)

I finished it. It grew on me. The first chapter turned me off, but once I got past that, I started laughing more. There were some really funny parts, so raunchy, and some really immature. It kind of reminded me of the hangover. LOL

I'm about halfway through now, and I'm liking it a lot so far - a few pretty good laugh out loud moments, especially with Gavin. The humor is definitely the type that I need to be in the right mood for, but fortunately it's working for me right now. ;) At least I'll know that when I continue with the series (and I'm sure I will), and won't start reading the next book when I'm in the wrong mood!

I just read the synopsis.. really interesting so, I am gonna try to read this one as well.

I finished this morning, and while I did like the book a lot, I think it might have even worked better for me if it was a bit shorter. I can only take so much of that type of humor, and by the end it was starting to get a little old. It was fun though, and I'll definitely read the other two books - I'll just have to make sure I space them out a bit.

Better late than never...

I finished this today, and it worked for me. I looked at it like a stupid comedy movie - over the top, low brow humor, lots of foul language and sex. I can see you that would turn people off, but I like that kind of movie!

I'm finally reading it. It's ok so far...but I just started. I'll let you know how it ends for me :)
