Thanks everyone and Marnie I probably wouldn't have heard of a lot of those books either if it weren't for this challenge. That was why I chose the author one to experience 26 different authors. Found some good and some to stay away from but it was a fun experience.
Love the rationale for The Book Thief's rating! I haven't listened to it yet, one of those waiting for a good stretch of time to be available.Woohoo on finishing the alphabet!! I know I've lifted a few books from your list.
