I work for Booklamp, a data analytics company in the publishing industry. We are currently running a Kickstarter to raise money for The Game of Books, a reading game to be used in Libraries, Schools, Book clubs or even Personally.
As a part of the Kickstarter, we have created a concept demo of some ideas we have on how the game will work. You can find this demo at gameofbooks.com/level_up.
Please note, this is a demo and is not fully fleshed out yet. I'm one of the engineers who created it and will be the first to tell you the search is a bit wonky, there will sometimes be duplicate titles in the results, our book coverage is kind of spotty etc. But we really wanted to give people a chance to see The Game in action. We are really excited about it and hope you will be too.
When I decided to post here I thought it would be cool to create the game card for S&L, so you can find it Here. As I said before the coverage of books we have in the demo is kind of spotty. For example, of the 49 books S&L has marked read, we had 36 (73%) in the system.
