Fiona Tipping (fixienix) Hi, I need some help to find a book I read either in the late 70s or early 80s.

If I remember, it had the word "Twilight" in the title (which, in today's context, will explain why I am battling to get past every search due to the Stephenie Meyer books!)

Probable date of publication: late 70s to early 80s.

Author: Male, I think.

Basic storyline: post-apocalyptic world, where electricity and radio/tv communication is lost. People are reverting to wild ways. Scenery is 'dark'. I can't remember much else, which is why I want to read the book again.

Fii

Lisa (med0ra) | 433 comments Here's a description I found. "The time is shortly after the great nuclear spasm: in all the world there is nothing but ruin, famine, barbarism. Worst of all, residual radiation is causing an ever increasing rate of abnormal births. The human race is doomed to slow extinction, but among the ever increasing number of mutants a few are not less but more than what came before." And these. "An apocalyptic science fiction novel of post-World War Three and 'Tomorrow's Children' surviving on a planet devasted by nuclear bombs, and where the number of mutant children caused by radiation is constantly increasing."
"Post-holocaust story. By an accident of genetics, the mutants became the precursors of a new master race."
