Does this book improve? I'm nearly 5 hours into the audiobook and we've just seen Aomame interact with the butterfly lady for the first time and I want to stab my eyes out. The female reader's voice is doing my head in and the stiltedness of the language and inanity of the massive number of observations in both parts is driving me up the wall.
Promise me it will improve soon and I won't Lem it, which is something that I never do but I know I can't take another 30 hours of this. At the moment I cannot understand why it could receive good reviews so I know there must be something more to it.
