Sue | 1296 comments Good luck Mandy. I read Captain Corelli a few years ago and once I got past the Italian campaign absolutely loved it!

Mandy Thanks Sue, I have really enjoyed all the challenge books so far.

Bill | 2773 comments Off to a good start, Mandy. I keep getting stuck in the same countries, lol. It is a fun challenge.

message 7: by Andrew (new)

Andrew | 970 comments I too recently started this challenge and I am hooked. It really broadens my reading ideas and is clearing a pile of books I've had waiting to be read.Is it worth reading Corelli I've always had an odd prejudice against books that are really really popular.Enjoy your travels!!

Mandy Thanks Bill, sometimes I look at othe people's list for inspiration. Andrew, I read Corelli because I also do the "1001 Books to read before you die" group.
I enjoyed Corelli, but of course it is always down to personal taste. Maybe you might get a better idea if you might like it by checking the reviews here. All I can say is that I enjoyed it.

Mandy Can I use the same book to cover a couple of challenges? Just on Georgiana: Duchess of Devonshire...which would cover historical challenge and I would like it to be 8. UK in my around the world challenge?
