James Wilkinson | 52 comments I don't have the space for a great quantity of books. Our home is extremely humble, so I only have a few. A couple I haven't read yet, as I'm not quite ready for the commitments attached with them. War and Peace isn't something to be approached lightly. Once I exhaust all book possibilities at my local library (forseeable, given it is so small) then I will start to transfer books in from other local libraries. I do have a list which is not of my own making. There's the BBC Top 100 books as voted for by the UK public. After that, I have my own Good Reading Guide by Bloomsbury to follow slavishly (God bless the publishers for this reading bible). I don't really have any preferences with regards to genre. Reading from many different genres gives you a well-rounded experience. The 98 books attached to my profile are my immediate goals, but if they don't have the right one at the library then I will merely try and find the next one on the list. Rather OCD I suppose. I do appreciate reviews. There's too little time to waste it on bad fiction.

good luck with your goal James. Reading strictly from lists is something I wish I could do. But sometimes there are things there that I just have no urge to read. Please keep us updated.
