Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

I started with . I love some of Moning's other work and so far I'm loving this also.

Last year I started off with a book that I didn't end up liking and I felt like it set the tone for the whole year. I've never read so many books in a year that I either flat out didn't like or felt "meh" about. I'm hoping that starting with a good book will mean it'll be a good reading year. *Fingers crossed* :D

My first read was It was a great book by my favorite author. The story it self really messes with your mind until the end where it then all falls into place and makes perfect sense. =D

I still need to finish off the first book in the series. Ironically I had an advanced reading copy of the first book before the official book came out so I have had a copy of the book for pretty much 10 years now and never finished it. I even met the author.

First book for 2013 was 'mystic city' I'm really enjoying it but I'm not finishing it completely till the date to the second book is closer (:

The book is a good start! Then can't wait to read Pandemonium and Requiem!

Oh gosh, I read unfortunately. It was terrible. VERY terrible.

I usually just pick up whatever is at hand for the new year. If I got a new book for Christmas that I haven't read before, I choose that one.

For 2013, though, my first read was Which I actually enjoyed rather a lot.

I still haven't started the series, But I heard they were going to turn this series into a TV show.
