puppitypup Hey Emily, I just finished A Hidden Fire by Elizabeth Hunter. What a great book! I don't give out many 5 star ratings, but this one deserves it. I can't believe it was free on Kindle. Thanks for the pick! Julie

~KarenH~ | 11349 comments I've finished a two of my picks in the last few days. I loved I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier, and now I'm part of the growing crowd waiting not so patiently for the next book to come out! I listened to The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, and thought it was very cute, and the narration was absolutely amazing. This was the first time I'd listened to anything by Bronson Pinchot, but it definitely won't be the last! Thanks for the picks, Shell - I'd like to fit at least one more in this month, but I'm just not sure if it's going to happen.

I've been waiting too Karen! I wasn't sure there was ever going to be a sequel but in her GR profile Crystal indicates that the story is complete but going through the clean up phase... Can't wait :)

It was a reread for me, but I wanted to listen to the audio since I had heard such good things about it. I love this book and this series! And the audio is pretty darn good too - I can't wait to hear what Kaleo Griffith does with some of the other heroes in this series!!

Ty | 1943 comments finished my 2nd PIFM the other day, The Duchess War (Brothers Sinister, #1) by Courtney Milan . love it!

I didn't know what to think about this type of hero at first. He definitely wasn't alpha but not quite beta... so was he a gamma? I wasn't sure. Normally, I'm all about alphas, but something about Robert just made me root for him. While I did enjoy the first 75% of the book, the last 25% pretty much distracted me from the story of the H/h. But I still gave it 5 stars due the refreshing uniqueness of the couple.

I've read the first five books. Alien vs. Alien (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #6) by Gini Koch came out in December and I bought it at the start of this month. I'm planning to start it soon.

I love Gini Koch's humor. Kitty usually manages to hit the right level of snark without crossing the line over into annoying. Her parents are a hoot, too.

Another plus, Koch's love of comic books is apparent. Somehow, she manages to inject some of that comic book mentality into her plot lines without making it just a comic book in novel format.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Brittany, I finished Bared to You yesterday. It was good thank you. I'll probably continue with the series but I'm hoping the characters become somewhat more likable as the relationship progresses. As ultra rich Roarke overcomes the bitchiness that is Eve... oops got a bit confused... I mean as ultra rich Gideon overcomes the bitchiness that is Eva I see parallels to several other books I've read. It needs something to differentiate itself from the rest of the field.
