I'm in and definitely a Party All Night girl - although our party this year is a quiet one with some close friends of ours at their house.

Saw your comment about Hand and Foot - our family LOVES that game, and I have a sister-in-law who wants to play every weekend when we see her!! (She normally hates games, but for some reason LOVES that one and is very competitive and hilarious about it!)

Hmmm, guess I'd better jump in here before I miss it! Definitely a quiet night at home for me, I've never been much of a New Year's partier. I would appreciate it if at least some of my picks come from my cant-wait-to-read shelf. Thanks!

Daffodil and Nancy - I'd never heard of anyone outside of my family and close circle of friends that played Hand and Foot until this thread. We used to play it all the time, but recently it's been displaced (hopefully temporarily) by Mexican Train dominoes...

My friend introduced me to Hand & Foot about 4-5 years ago. Now I'm addicted!

Growing up, it was always about Shanghai Rum. My earliest memories of family gatherings include sitting on the step stool next to my dad or grandma, guarding the nickel cup and hearing calls of "I'll buy that". We still have to play it when the family gets together.

I would love to Party but it will be a QUIET AT HOME!!!

It will be a quiet night at home for me and my hubby! We might celebrate a New York New Year, but we usually forget that even.
