Week 3:

(view spoiler)[I really enjoyed this book. While I was reading this the movie "Final Destination" was on top of my mind.

During the day Nara Collins seems like any normal teenager but when she goes to sleep she dreams of the next day. She sees her future before it happens. Giving her a chance to either allow it to happen or to change the future. And others fate. Then she meets Ethan, a loner student who is shy. Nara looses her abilities and wonders why. In the end readers discover a whole new meaning to "don't mess with fate."

I plan on reading the second book and very soon. Even if to just find out what happens to Ethan and Nara. (hide spoiler)]

Week 4 -

(view spoiler)[I LOVED this book. It's the right mixture of romance and paranormal. Throughout the book I had the biggest smile/grin on my face. The way the author has created the relationship between the characters had me either laughing like a little girl or yelling out loud. I enjoyed every single word of this book. From start to finish.

A.M. Hudson has created a great book that tells the relationship between Ara-Rose and David Knight. Ara-Rose has moved to live with her father after a hardship she has been through. Once living with her father she starts her new school. Where she shortens her name to Ara or as her dad calls her "just Ara." The first day of school she meets David Knight and falls in love. And she is deep in love with this young man. However David has some dark secrets that he is keeping from Ara and when she learns these secrets her world will be turned upside down. David has forced Ara to enter a world filled with death and secrecy. She must choose between eternal love and a normal teenage life. And with added pressure she must choose before the end of summer.

I will tell the truth becuase it's better to tell the truth then to tell a lie. Several times while reading the book I kept thinking of how close it was to Twilight. "Girl movies to new town to live with dad. Meets a HOT young man. Falls in love with young man. Learns young mans dark, deep secret." But really this is different then Twilight. Because in A.M. Hudson's book vampires feed on humans, have the ability to walk in sunlight without the sparkle.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars but I cannot. The Knight of the Rose, Dark Secrets #2 here I come. (hide spoiler)]

It was actually pretty accurate. I had not read the fairy tale before I saw the book but I decided to read it when I got the book and the book is the same with a lot of the details and other stuff. The only big differences that I noticed was that unlike the fairy tale there was no beheading of guys who could not figure out where the princesses danced and the author gave the book more of a romantic/thrilling spin to make it more appealing in the young adult genre.

Gisbelle, your shelf looks normal again. When I was on this morning it was saying you read 31/13 books and when I would click on view books, there would be no books there. really weird.
