the lovecraft book is available for free on places like project gutenberg etc etc. i can't remember exactly where i picked it up from.

Elle, I'm reading Dinner With a Vampire and I think you might like it, it's not the best, written a little 'immaturely' and there is something about the story that doesn't sit right with me but it's still enjoyable.I have the DTB version so I can lend it to you next time I'm home (we HAVE to meet up next time! - it's my fault though, I know) or I can post it
Hi Jud - Sorry for the late reply. It's been a busy time. I have found it in the library and will pick it up when I get a chance and yes, we definitely need to organise something!Desley - I am still a little unsure. I'm still finding my way around him but so far I like him.

Finished 15 books so far in 2013 - but a lot of them are shorts so my page count is just over 1100 now.I am going to try and read some actual books in the next few weeks.

Updated another time.I managed to complete one book I had put to the wayside and another 2 books. One was a short story (which was incredibly fucked up. holy crap) and another a short book (200~ pages)
I'm afraid to ask...Well done anyway, Elle! ;-P
It was.... very screwed up. I almost feel bad ruining it because I feel like reading it blind is almost more shocking.

Hahaha!Just about to update with two shorts an a short-ish anthology. The anthology I had like 20% left and I only realised last night that it was all like things that weren't Kindle appropriate (puzzles and the sort) so bleh. Two shorts have been sitting on my kindle for a while now and I have a few more I wanna clear out too.

After an hour reading in the sunshine I finally reached 20%I'm hoping the last 20% or so will be all appendices that I don't have to read... Wish I'd never started.

Have you read dracula yet?Robin Hood is more like a collection of short stories of what Robin Hood and his Merry Men got up to, so if you fancy shorter stories you could go with that?
I read Dracula many years ago but I plan to re-read it this year. I also have the audiobook from the library.Robin Hood is also on the list for this year.
I think I might read another series book next then move on to Robin Hood.
i've updated one book and also wrote up my year challenged. i had to kept updated it in the other group but hadn't edited it here
I'm finally 36% in to War & Peace! I was so excited I had to share :o)
