Here you can nominate books with the Best Twist.

For this category please list the title and the author. You could also give a reason for nominating the book but you don't have to.

Just remember that Each member can only make one nomination per category. If you nominate more than one only the first nomination will be accepted. The book must also already be released. Authors: don't nominate yourselves

Okay so this is REALLY not a YA book, more of a middle grade, but for me, it was 13 Gifts by Wendy Mass.

Sian (sianwatson1) The Mortal Instruments - Cassandra Clare!
the whole business with Jace being Jonathon but then not being the Jonathon that they think he is which really is Sebastian/Jonathon, a morgenstern! and the way Cassandra Clare wrote it, unraveling the story and the truth was just amazing !

Yes, I second this! Jocelyn's story in City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3) by Cassandra Clare made me stare at the wall in horror/surprise/awe for more than half an hour.

Nikki Sojkowski (nikkisoj) | 868 comments Percy Jackson! By Rick Riordan all the books pretty much have twists but the BIG one would be the huge prophecy in the first series The Last Olympian with Luke (who everyone thinks is the bad guy) being the actually hero the whole time!
