thoughts?

I finished this on new year's eve and I really really hated it. The main characters were really shallow and annoyed me right from the start plus the whole book was basically about teen gossip and Rose's crush on an older guy. I definitely won't be reading any more books in this series.

I haven't read it but have heard mixed reviews. Some people like love love LOVED it, but others hated it I guess. I'm not really a vamp kind of girl so I don't think I'm going to read it, though.

Same here. I also read all the books in the spin off series, Bloodlines, and LOVE them too!

I really like this series so much more than the spin-off.. No offense, Adrian. I'm a Tall, Dark, and Handsome girl.

I love Adrian though! In my opinion, he's a lot funnier and deeper then Dimitri. But I never liked Adrian with Rose. Although I do like Rose's POV better than Sydney's, I think I like both series an equal amount.

This book was okay...and the 2nd book is better then BOOM! The rest is AMAZING!!! Yah I totally agree with you guys. Adrian is WAY better then Dimitri, so I say read this series if you want (I recommend it) But Bloodlines I way more interesting to me.

I thought the first book was good. Then I cried in the second book. Then the third book I threw at a car ( cause the dimitri thing). The fourth book I threw at a car ( cause of the Lissa and Christian thing). The fifth book was like O.O I threw it at a car though because of the ending and I have yet to read the sixth.

(( this reminds me of the immortals series because the first book was good. Then I cried the second book. And I haven't read the last two))

I agree. It gets better as it goes along.

I just think Adrian is way too flippant for my taste. Sorry.

I've only read the first three books of the series and then I stopped because...Dimitri... :'(

I love that series i have read three times the whole series my favourite!! lol i am plannig to read it for fourth time!!! i remeber every thing every line lol i love it!! Best series EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! lol

Really!?!?!!? cuz i just assumed that they got worse because...Dimitri...(as you can tell I <3 Dimitri with all my heart)

while reading the series, I actually skipped the 3rd book on accident. so I read it, 1,2,4,3,5, then 6. I was so confused while reading the 3rd one. I was like what battle, why the heck is she in Russia looking for Dimitri. Why did Dimitri attack her? What battle? I was 100% clueless. Then she mentioned that cabin scene and it clicked. that's when I realized that I wasn't just forgetting super important parts but i had skipped a whole book. hehe. Dumb moment there

No, trust me. Things will only get better and better. Once you read all of VA, be sure to read Bloodlines too :D

I just read Foretold: 14 Tales of Prophecy and Prediction..... And the last story? It was about Dimitri and Rose. I died.

I know! I want to read that so bad. I love Sydrian but I miss Romitri!

Eh, I don't like the cast that much. But I do like who they cast as Lissa. Perfect casting as far as that part goes. In all honesty, I'm scared for who will be Adrian in the next movie. God, I hope it's Max Irons. He's sarcastic, sexy, and smokes like Adrian. Perfect Adrian <3 <3

YOU GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYS. I just found out whoever's playing Rose, plays Maya from Suite Life on Deck. No wonder why she's so damn familiar! I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Yeah, I knew she played Maya from the begining of casting. I used to be really into that show.

Yeah, that part is cool :)
I'm not much of a Dimitri fan tbh, so I'm more worried about who they'll cast as Sydney and Adrian in later movies :P
