Caitlin (bookchats) | 31 comments F. LaGard Smith compiled The Daily Bible: In Chronological Order and it has been published in at least 6 different editions. These editions instead of all being editions of the same book have been entered as separate books (this is likely due to the confusion with it being a compilation of the NIV translation of the Holy Bible, a sacred text, but there is enough original commentary/content in this that the editions should be counted together and as separate from other translations/versions of the Holy Bible.)

I'm not sure what information you need, hopefully this will suffice:

The publisher's website: http://harvesthousepublishers.com/boo...#

Several separate entries:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/47...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/24...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33...

There are also definitely different covers between editions, although I don't have examples at the moment.

These are the ISBNs of the six editions listed in my copy:
Hardcover (first published 1996) ISBN 10: 0-7369-0124-8 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-0124-6
Softcover ISBN 10: 0-7369-0198-1 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-0198-7
Milano Softone(TM) ISBN 10: 0-7369-1733-0 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-1733-9
Compact Hardcover ISBN 10: 0-7369-1581-8 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-1581-6
Compact Softcover ISBN 10: 0-7369-1582-6 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-1582-3
Large Print ISBN 10: 0-7369-2001-3 ISBN 13:978-0-7369-2001-8

At various times I or my friends and family have owned the softcover (which I believe had a fuchsia/maroonish cover), what I believe was the milano softone (fake leather cover, ours was green, with a tree embossed on the front), The compact Hardcover and the Compact soft cover (both had the cover shown on the entry.)

I'm not sure if you can untangle the mess that these books have become, but I would be incredibly appreciative if someone could take on the task. Furthermore could the page numbers be double checked?

Thank you for your time and assistance

Thank you so much! I think to comply with the sacred texts guidelines they still need to be listed with Anonymous as the primary author and F. LaGard Smith as secondary (he's called a compiler by the publisher.) I'm not entirely familiar with all the ins and outs of Goodreads though, so maybe not. This is already so much better than it was.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments I think you're right, but I'm not entirely sure. Well, I'll list them that way and perhaps one of the librarians who regularly works in Anonymous can check up on them later.
