Angel **Book Junkie** I am in Oregan with A Cowboy for Christmas by Kristin James.. I like it.. I am trying to clear my Kindle of all the "free" Christmas books. Can't wait to find out where I am heading next it is always a surprise for me!

Yrinsyde Hello all! I'm combining this challenge with the Read Around Canada challenge and my first reads are in Canada. The first US book I will read will be for Maine and will be either The Triangulation Society or The Cider House Rules or Olive Kitteredge. I'm not planning to do this in one year ... I finished an audio book so I still have my eyes in Florida, but my ears are in Indiana with a lighter YA read, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. If a cancer book can be light. This book ended up on the 2013 Tournament of Books do I wanted to read it regardless!

Suzanne In in Ohio (and the Philippines and Washington DC) with Nellie Taft. It's full of lots of interesting information, but written in the traditional history book style, so it's a bit of a slow read (aka slog) for me.

I picked up Arcadia by Lauren Groff since it is on the Tournament of Books list, and discovered it takes place in upstate New York on a hippie commune. I have two other books set in NY, but everything counts!

In Detroit with Detroit: An American Autopsy by Charlie LeDuff. Non-fiction, journalist, only read a few pages but I like the tone so far!

I enjoyed this book, and will likely read the next in the series, whose main character is a Catholic priest who enjoys reading mysteries, and helped the Detroit police solve a major case. Thanks to Michael who suggested this book. I am moving on to Ohio, to read The Lime Pit by Jonathan Valin
