What are you guys currently reading for the group? I'm in Virginia with The Kitchen House. So far, I like it.

I just left Indiana and read Confessions of a Murder Suspectby James Patterson. I gave it 4 stars. I'm not sure where I'm off to next.
I am in Oregan with A Cowboy for Christmas by Kristin James.. I like it.. I am trying to clear my Kindle of all the "free" Christmas books. Can't wait to find out where I am heading next it is always a surprise for me!
Hello all! I'm combining this challenge with the Read Around Canada challenge and my first reads are in Canada. The first US book I will read will be for Maine and will be either The Triangulation Society or The Cider House Rules or Olive Kitteredge. I'm not planning to do this in one year ... See you in Maine!

In in Ohio (and the Philippines and Washington DC) with Nellie Taft. It's full of lots of interesting information, but written in the traditional history book style, so it's a bit of a slow read (aka slog) for me.

In RI (back at my old university on graduation weekend in 1982) with The Marriage Plot and in Mississippi with Absalom, Absalom!.

Beth, I really did like Tinkers. It was a fairly quick read but quite moving I thought. I always try to read something 'local' while I travel too.
I'm in Vermont with Desire by Starlight. I'm loving the manor house and the Vermont maple doughnuts.
I think I'm in Alabama with The Keepers of the House by Shirley Ann Grau which is keeping the mood going from Mississippi and Absalom, Absalom!.
I'm reading Gods in Alabama for Alabama, and The Unforgiven, somewhere in New England, not sure where yet.
I just left a small town in Missouri with Gone Girl and I'm currently deciding whether to head to the Big West with A Dirty Job or back East with Little Children. Oh the decisions..
I'm still in Alabama...but also taking a detour to upstate NY with Nobody's Fool. I really enjoyed Empire Falls so I hope Mr Russo doesn't disappoint this time either.

I'm reading Land of the Burnt Thigh for South Dakota, nonfiction, it's a really interesting book about two sisters who get themselves a homestead in 1907.
Currently, I am in Florida, reading Highball Exit...I can't get the cover to show up here, even though it is in my 2013 Reading challenge on my home page. frustrating. I am also reading, Florida again,
I have left Florida, and moved on to Dave Robicheaux country, in Louisiana, with James Lee Burke's [ :Crusader's Cross|1535604].
I've taken a side trip to Mexico with The Hot Country by Robert Olen Butler

. I enjoyed this book, and will likely read the next in the series, whose main character is a Catholic priest who enjoys reading mysteries, and helped the Detroit police solve a major case. Thanks to Michael who suggested this book. I am moving on to Ohio, to read
