Welcome to 2013, everyone! I like to think of this as the year of science fiction (do not fret, we won't be reading sci-fi the whole year) because, well, no one thought we'd be around for 2013 so it's almost like another dimension. That's the only logical explanation for why we're still around, right?

So to kick off 2013, we're starting with some sci-fi. 2044 isn't that far into the future...I wonder if we'll really have virtual reality.
