Darkhouse is like crack. You'll want the rest of the series.

Also, I forgot I'd collected

I'm reading

I started

I think I'm going to read

So you could probably get away with not reading GM first, but why wouldn't you read it anyway? They are just such a great writing team ;)
I like the new cover but I agree with the majority that she looks a little young for Kate.

Lol! I will read it though I didn't know it overlapped with Magic Slays :)
Regarding the cover I like that it's brighter and more eye-catching, I also like that the model is quite striking. Weirdly I always thought the previous model looked slightly too old seeing as kate is only... 24? Is that right? Anyway, it's probably because I'm soon to be 22 and I look about 12 that I don't mind too much :P

and a book that is somehow not listed on goodreads and is a manga, The Adventures of Johnny Bunko.
I have several that for some reason I cannot finish and so many to start I don't know where to begin. I think my next read tho will probably be

I just picked that one up over Memorial Day weekend. Good to hear that it's a good one. :)

I'm currently trying to finish

I loved Edge of Dawn, which was a passing of the torch kind of book for the Midnight Breed men. I am exited about the direction of the story.

I agree that it's a good direction for the story. I was expecting something like Walking Dead but skipping 20 years kind of shut down the idea. My only problem was Kellen was a bit TSTL with his guilt trip...otherwise it gave new life to the series.

BDB is my favorite, but damn, the author has so much going on with all the time

I've finished

*swiping tears from my eyes*
Yes, you are really missing out....is it in the SOS bookshelf so that I can sneak it in as a Free Space book?

Yep, it's there.

I listed it on the "New Releases for June" which counts for free space too...
I'm also reading

Best way to wake up Steph!

:D My hubby was making fun of me b/c I fell asleep reading HoO, woke up to find my Kindle still in my hand, woke it up and started reading again.

Think I might try that tonight.

I think people either love or hate the Charley Davidson series. Probably the humor that throws people off (which is a bit toned down in the second book). I enjoy the series, but don't force yourself if it isn't connecting for you.

I will admit that The Surgeon is a very dark read, but still good. Deadly Sting is so far sounding a lot like the other books in the series...I only wish something new would happen and this bullshit with Owen wouldn't keep going...but alas, authors and their "tension"...

Ames, Wild Invitation is a quick read and I really enjoyed Gunmetal Magic.
From all accounts above, if you start Dark House first, be prepared to read them all very quickly. LOL
