Lis | 4037 comments @Steph, keep going with the Secret series despite the "quadrangle" it's a good one.

Read some really good books which were all 4 to 5s, so now I'm feeling kinda slumpie...
Ritual Magic (World of the Lupi, #10) by Eileen Wilks Archangel's Legion (Guild Hunter, #6) by Nalini Singh Kinked (Elder Races, #6) by Thea Harrison Origin (Lux, #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout The Temptation of Lila and Ethan (The Secret, #3) by Jessica Sorensen all good.
A little disappointed in the trilogy ending with Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth

Currently working on Dancing With the Devil (Nikki & Michael, #1) by Keri Arthur and The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Regina, I think Molly Harper's were funnier. But, VLT's were a sweet read. Yeah, I've really enjoyed listening to MH's series. She has me laughin' and snortin' throughout the book.

Thanks! BSB is helping, but b/c RL continues to infringe on my reading time I've been stuck with those two "restricted" choices. And, with the holidays creeping up on us, I'm thinking it'll be a while before it changes.

Thanks, Lis, I will. I am more interested in her and her storyline now than I was after reading the prequel. And, I really do like all of the characters - side and main.

How are you liking Dancing with the Devil? I'm a big Keri Arthur fan and read them a while a go, but I remember immediately noticing how different her writing was back then. I really liked Nikki & Michael.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9662 comments It's been some time since I posted but with Bingo I'll read more.

I was in a shifter mood so I breezed through ookcover:Bear Necessities|8478990] Sweet Dreams (Halle Pumas, #2) by Dana Marie Bell Cat Of A Different Color (Halle Pumas, #3) by Dana Marie Bell Steel Beauty (Halle Pumas, #4) by Dana Marie Bell Only in My Dreams (Halle Pumas, #5) by Dana Marie Bell Cynful (Halle Shifters, #2) by Dana Marie Bell Finding Forgiveness (Poconos Pack, #1) by Dana Marie Bell and finished The Passage (The Passage, #1) by Justin Cronin .

Since Bingo started I've read Ember's Kiss (Dragonfire, #8) by Deborah Cooke Archangel's Legion (Guild Hunter, #6) by Nalini Singh Kiss of Danger (Dragonfire, #9.1) by Deborah Cooke and Perdition (Dred Chronicles, #1) by Ann Aguirre .

Now working on Kinked (Elder Races, #6) by Thea Harrison and having difficulty listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments What'd ya think of Perdition, Val?

message 1055: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4037 comments Steph, its ok... Riley is a tough act to follow and I knew it was her earlier work so I'm trying to keep that in mind. Keri Arthur is one if my favs so I hope it gets a little better as it goes.

message 1056: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Yeah, that's the truth! Loved Riley. And, her writing was much ... weaker? (not sure if that's the word I'm looking for or not) back then. I thought N&M series did get better with each book, but maybe that's b/c with each book I was more interested in them and wanting to know what would happen with them.

message 1057: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments Must admit to reading N&M #1 some time ago, and I've just ordered #4, not reading #2 & #3 though, LOL.

About to start Kinked (Elder Races, #6) by Thea Harrison and I must read A Love Worth Biting For (Hart Clan Hybrids, #1) by Roxy Mews as I picked that up and it is now BOM for Shifter Love. Glad you liked it Steph.

Val, glad you liked Dana Marie Bell's shifters, some of my favs in that bunch.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments You're not planning on reading #2-3, but bought #4? Or just haven't read them yet? >;)

LWB4 was interesting. A 3-3.5 read for me. I'll probably read #2 to see where it goes.

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) | 2516 comments Finished How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #1) by Molly Harper The Edge of Always (The Edge of Never, #2) by J.A. Redmerski Fallen by Celeste Bradley The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies, #1) by Tarryn Fisher After Hours by Cara McKenna Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover The Sweetest Thing (Lucky Harbor, #2) by Jill Shalvis Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor, #3) by Jill Shalvis Lucky in Love (Lucky Harbor, #4) by Jill Shalvis --loving this series.

Right now I am torn on what to read next, but I am waiting for SSS challenge for the number so I can pick where to go.

I would like to read Finding Cinderella (Hopeless, #2.5) by Colleen Hoover The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #2) by Molly Harper At Last (Lucky Harbor, #5) by Jill Shalvis ...but it depends on the number we roll tonight. For now, I will savor my favorite parts of Losing Hope (and watch TV with hubby)

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9662 comments Steph wrote: "What'd ya think of Perdition, Val?"

With a closed environment like a prison ship, it could get boring but it didn't. I liked it with some links to the Jax series.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments I thought so too, Val. I was surprised, but shouldn't have been, by how she was able to keep it so interesting in such an environment.

message 1074: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments Ooh, just finished the one before Autumn Bones, Kerstin, and really enjoyed it. Stupid publishing company, is only doing hc or kindle, then publishing the pb 14 months later. By then I'll have forgotten all about it.

Does the Dark Angels gets better? I stopped at book 3 and wondering if I should pick them back up.

Lis | 4037 comments Val, I'm not sure yet... They always seem to be slow starters then they pick up and get exciting at the end. I need to read them closer to each other because I forget who all the players are. I like Keri Arthur's writing and loved Riley, Risa is growing on me...

That cliff is a doozy! I'm so anxious for #4, but we have 175 days left. :/ Boooooo!

I've read/listened to: If Only (Masters of the Shadowlands, #8) by Cherise Sinclair BloodSworn by Stacey Brutger Legacy (The Niteclif Evolutions, #1) by Denise Tompkins Priceless (Rylee Adamson, #1) by Shannon Mayer Soul Ties (Soul Ties, #1) by Lisa Swallow Angel's Ink (The Asylum's Tales, #1) by Jocelynn Drake Dead Man's Deal (The Asylum Tales, #2) by Jocelynn Drake World After (Penryn & the End of Days, #2) by Susan Ee Survivor Roundup (The Zombie West Series, #2) by Angela Scott

The author of Legacy wrote me after reading my 2.5-star review. I've not yet thought of how to reply; it was such a surprise.

REALLY enjoyed listening to Drake's Asylum Tales with hubby on our road trip. Great narration; I love male POVs.

World After was wickedly awesome! Anxious for #3, but no word on when it'll be coming out. Hope it's less than 2 yrs wait.

Four of those were Amazon freebies - nice knocking some of those of the TBR stacks.

Hope everyone who celebrates had a great Thanksgiving! :D

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Yeah, I'm still not sure how to approach it. I don't want to ignore her post, but ... ๏̯͡๏ not sure how to proceed. Maybe I'll just thank her for reading my review and say I'll consider reading #2, esp since I already have the bugger on hand.
