Congrats! I'm reading a well-worn library book...it's really good, slow but evocative. Reminds me of Cold Mountain in style. I'll look for your review.

They do have A Street Cat named Bob the US I've been hoping to read it. I don't know if they have it in the UK but if your a cat-lover check out Homer's Odyssey and Love Saves the Day both by Gwen Cooper and Dewey by Vicki Myron and Making Rounds with Oscar by David Dosa and the chicken soup for the cat lover's soul. All are really good cat books.

Okay, first off, I read roughly 3/4 of the Night Circus... and I hated it. No offense to the book, but it's plot was sorely lacking in my opinion. It took me three weeks to get 3/4 of the way through the book, which was pathetic for me; I usually read at least a book every week. It was painful. I can understand how some people would like it. There was really good imagery; I just felt that the plot was sacrificed for the scenery. Just to throw that out there...
Also, The Knife of Never Letting Go has a weird writing if you were unaware...
Oh, and 1984 has a horrid ending...
Negative things aside, I would get The Scorch Trials because it seems like a cool book and every time I see it, it calls to me ("Read me... Read me..."), and Legend because I liked the book, and it's the only one left that I've read that I didn't trash in that first part.
That said, Paper Towns has a cool cover with the tack and everything, and Ready Player One is a cool title, though I'd never heard of either previously.
Sorry, if you didn't want that much of an opinion, but I'm naturally very opinionated, and I don't get a whole lot of chances to share my opinions, so.... Happy You-asked-a-question Day! You get my opinion!

I read this when I was a young teenager and loved it. Loved the cutaways in the middle of the book that were exactly like my thoughts! Hope you enjoy it.

I can't say how much I loved this book. Out of all 3 books of hers-so far-this one is my favorite.

If anybody can recommend a good dark and twisted read..."
Then go for Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles- well keep u busy for a long while.
